Paxton Bachman
was born 1973 in Vancouver, BC. Rock and Roll was becoming multi-billion dollar business and his father's and uncles' band, Bachman Turner Overdrive, rose from obscurity to the top of the charts in over 60 countries selling millions of records. To say music and entertaining is in Paxton's blood would be a severe understatement.

Paxton has toured as a guitar tech with his uncle Randy Bachman and as guitarist and band leader with Texas blues legend, Master of the Lap Steel, Sonny Rhodes. Paxton has performed on stage with the Doobie Brothers, playing a whole encore with them, as well as sitting in with Buddy Miles (Jimi Hendrixs' 'Band of Gypsys') and jamming Hendrix tunes with him. At Blues Festivals this year in the Toronto area, he and his trio backed up Sonny and opened for Robert Cray and Jeff Healy in front of thousands of people.

When it comes to the recording studio Paxton assisted in engineering one of Duke Robillard's latest album and performed as guitarist on a multitude of recording sessions in Los Angeles for a wide variety if artists.

Today Paxton performs and tours with his trio, The Paxton Bachman Band performing at clubs, bars, and summer festivals, rocking out their funky-pop originals as well as classic rock jems, r&b hits and hitting the funk and playing the blues.

When people hear Paxton perform they cannot help but be engrossed in the feeling and passion he exudes. In years to come, those in Paxton's audiences today will be able to say they saw the legend in the making.

For Rock n Roll, Blues, R & B, and/or Jazz performances or recording session work, Paxton Bachman is difficult to match and certainly can't be beat!
